Description
QED Silver Anniversary XT Jumper Links
QED Silver Anniversary XT Jumper Links terminated cables will improve the performance of your system when replacing the speaker’s links. This is not only a quick and easy upgrade to your hi-fi, but is also relatively inexpensive.

QED Silver Anniversary XT jumper links on offer are each terminated with 8mm wide gold-plated spades and QED Airloc banana plugs.
The price includes a set of 4 QED jumper links, that is, one stereo pair for connection to a pair of loudspeakers. Each jumper link is approximately 15cm long between the high quality gold plated crimped spade terminal and mini Airloc banana plug finished off with red and black insulating heat shrink wrap.

QED Silver Anniversary XT cable has the added enhancement of Aircore™ technology found in the most prestigious QED X-Tube cables. The precise cylindrical construction of the silver-plated, 99.999% pure, oxygen free copper cables reduces the distortion caused by ‘skin effect’.
As a result, QED Silver Anniversary XT is a completely neutral speaker cable that will allow your hi-fi or home cinema system to perform at its best.

Aircore™ Technology Explained
One of the big problems as cable conductor size increases, is how to keep the inductance low. This is vital to reduce cable losses and prevent inaccuracies in the signal transfer process, i.e. distortion. The normal way to do this is to use a number of individually insulated conductors within the cable construction, a method utilised to great effect in the design of QED’s Genesis Silver Spiral loudspeaker cables.
To take advantage of this design ethos, but in a more conventional format, X-TUBE forms the conductor in the shape of a tube with an inner aircore. This has the same effect as using multiple insulated conductors and ensures that high frequencies are transmitted cleanly, with the added benefit of ease of termination.

The unique tubular conductor geometry also provides lower flux density within the conductors, which gives improved transparency to the sound.
The overall result is more high frequency detail, less distortion and greater performance.
